Wild animals abound here and you may be lucky enough to see deer, turkeys, rabbits, bats, snakes, foxes, raccoons, possums, groundhogs, wild ducks, and geese, and many different song birds at some point during your stay here. Coyotes and bobcats are occasionally heard and owls hooting at night are very common. Bears and panthers have also been spotted in the county.
